The Global Learning Initiative through Digital Education for Students) GLIDES project is a state-wide initiative to create a community of tech-savvy teachers who share best practices for using technology to increase student achievement. Through Project-Based Learning, students become engaged in learning. The GLIDES project prepares students for the 21st century by integrating technology into the curriculum. Students research and collaborate to create a final product that demonstrates their mastery of content area skills.
This year, we had 14 teachers participate in the GLIDES project. Seven 5th grade teachers participated in the Fall semester and seven 2nd-4th grade teachers participated in the Spring semester.
